Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is a fast-paced driving game for Java phones, with several different types of chases and races to challenge you.
The premise of Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is that you're a bad-boy racer who must not only avoid the cops, but also outdo the World's top street drivers at hair-raising speeds through the streets of some of the World's most glamorous cities. The six locations are: Monte Carlo, Beverley Hills, Shanghai, New York, Dubai and Paris.
There are 10 different vehicles to choose from in Asphalt 4: Elite Racing, all of which you'd dream of owning. Cars include the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari F430 Spider, and the Nissan GT-R. There are also some super-fast bikes, such as the Ducati 1098.
You'll find five different types of races to enjoy in Asphalt 4: Elite Racing, including Drift, Cop chase, and Beat 'em all. Although the keypad controls are simple to grasp, the races are still tough enough to keep you challenged.
Graphically, Asphalt 4: Elite Racing looks pretty good for a Java racer. The cars are all recognizable and the backgrounds are distinct enough that you can tell which city it is. However, the game does suffer from frame rate issues when you're traveling at high speed or when there's a lot of action on screen at once. This will especially annoy you if you've got an old, or low-powered handset.
Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is enjoyable to play whether you're being chased or racing others.
